Suspension Flâneuse

From my wanderings through our Pyrenean mountains came Flâneuse, a lamp made of wool felt sourced from the Hautes-Pyrénées (65).
A wonderful encounter with Sarah Langner, founder of the Marelha workshop, made this project a reality.

Flâneuse is an invitation to slow down, to observe, to feel. It pays homage to the Pyrenees, with their majestic peaks and hidden valleys, as well as to the contrasting shores of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. In these lands where the elements interact freely, nature reigns supreme, setting its own pace and inviting us to listen and contemplate. Each light fixture thus becomes an echo of these landscapes, a subtle presence that reconnects the interior with the exterior, and the moment with what truly matters.

The felt:
Developed by Sarah Langner with the promise of a natural, fine, and lightweight material, it embodies the entire history of local wool.
It has been washed with organic soap and has undergone neither bleaching—which gives it its ecru color—nor carbonization (the process of dissolving plant matter present in the wool), which gives it its unique texture.
It is sometimes dotted with blue spots of varying sizes; these are the markings made by the shepherd to identify his flock.

Do not expose the lampshade to steam or a strong heat source.
Not suitable for bathrooms.
